Karen Law | Don't Mess with the Law

Guess what?  It's that time of year again PCR's annual Bowl-a-Thon.  I am so thankful I have been able to be part of this great organization for almost 9 years.  What has made this journey so incredible is connecting to the resilient people we serve and our incredibly generous supporters.  We know this year will be a tough one as we face the forces of reproductive oppression.  We have already seen anti-choice bills at our legislature and we know we will see even more restrictive and oppressive bills at the federal level.  I hope you will join me on March 23rd as we work to knock down these treacherous forces!

For almost 50 years, Pro-Choice Resources (PCR) has provided advocacy, access and education services to individuals and families in Minnesota and throughout the Midwest.

And PCR's Bowl-a-Thon is the longest-running fundraising event in the organization's history. Last year, people like you helped raise $71,000 at this event. Since we don’t receive funding from the government or large corporations, those funds are vital to our ability to serve communities. I simply can’t do it without donors like you.

Wondering how much to give? It may help to know how your dollars are used:

$25 Purchases safer sex products to distribute in the community.

$50 Helps guide pregnant women, youth, and transgender people to abortion care or parenting resources (prenatal care, adoption, etc).

$100 Supports advocates at PCR in facilitating EMERGE –PCR’s support group for people who have had abortions.

$250 Provides financial support to one person who is unable to afford abortion care.

$500 Provides one Education & Training Workshop on Abortion Care and Reproductive Justice Advocacy.

$1,500 Keeps us funding abortion care for those in need and keeps the Abortion Assistance Fund Hotline open for one week.

Are you with me? Excellent. To make a donation, just click the “Donate Now” link on the right and fill out the fields. Super easy.

Thank you so much for your help to ensure our reproductive freedom.
